Good
This hotel seemed to have a lot of very negative reviews on other sites so I nearly didn't stay here. However, we found the hotel comfortable, clean, comfy and despite all the reviews to the contrary the breakfast was good. The main complaint that the rooms are too hot is absolutely true - no air conditioning and no possibility to open the windows beyond a few inches. For everything else - if you need a hotel in central Bolton - this one is very good. Accessible restaurant for breakfast and nice staff but the area is dodgy.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Access was good however the carpet wasn't smooth.
Parking & Transport
Good
You can park for up to 15 minutes beside the reception, however, there is a private car park about 5 minutes away from the hotel and there are disabled spaces.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
The bathroom deserves special mention. I am a mobility scooter user with very limited physical mobility. The shower was superb having all necessary grab handles and a wide shower seat which made for a more secure shower experience. Toilet grab handles were also perfectly positioned. Overall the bathroom facilities were of such a high standard that they should be used as an example for disabled facilities for other hotels.
