Went for a Spa girlie day at Trump Turnberry. The hotel is fabby, disabled loos are super, but if you want to try the Spa then don't bother if you are in a wheelchair. There is no disabled changing facilities in the Spa area at all There is presently work getting done on first floor above spa where disabled toilet is. At this present date this toilet is not finished and I had to wait 45 minutes until staff finally got me a toilet in one of their rooms on second floor getting renovated. We checked with Spa before booking day if wheelchair friendly and was told facilities were suitable, Also checked again on morning of Spa day, to be told the same. There is a lift but staff had to make sure on day of visit that it would be cleared for use, So if you go soon and need loo then you are sunk. Also the fact there is no wheelchair facilities in the Spa for changing etc is not a day I would like to experience again.
Disabled Access In and Around

Access was limited due to work getting done to front of building. Lift and area around lift had to be cleared for my arrival.
Parking & Transport
Bad
disabled parking is not bad, but car park and road is still getting work done at present.
Accessible Toilets
0Accessible loo at the Spa was non existant on day of visit due to building work. Hotel loos were fabby but Hotel is a walk away from Spa as tunnel connecting Spa and hotel was closed due to building work, which meant you had to go outside to get to Hotel loos and main hotel
Staff
Good
Staff were very apologetic at Spa about loo not being available, but as we had doubled checked twice if facilities would be suitable this was obviously not high on the agenda, as why would somebody in a wheelchair need the loo. Main spa has no disabled changing facilities which meant I could not have used pool or have a shower after.
Additional Information
I would not use this Spa again as it did not suit me at all and made the day very stressful and embarrassing for all concerned. What was supposed to be a relaxing day ended up as a nightmare. I have been to more suitable Spa in the area which are more suitable for my needs.
