Venue Description

Based at the University of Sheffield, this museum houses around 650 pieces of glass art made mostly from 1900 to the current time. It is based on the personal collections of Prof WES Turner and Mr Harland (a local MP interested in Wine Glasses). We also have a glass wedding dress which includes glass slippers.

Accessibility

There are no steps into the building and once inside access to the museum itself is via a spacious lift with no steps to navigate.

Talks can be given if booked in advance. Every effort is made to make them accessible but facilities are limited.

Access to toilets is step free.

Staff

The venue does not employ any staff but the honorary curator can sometimes be available given advance notice.
