Overview
We visited here as part of a motorhome tip to Unst. I really liked this museum. It explains about the importance of the fishing industry and there are lots of boats and interesting artefacts to look at. The display boards tell stories that really bring it to life.
Transport & Parking
We didn't think there was a car park here, so we walked down from Unst Heritage Centre (quite a climb back up the hill). However, there is a small car park and I think there was a blue badge space parked near the door.
Access
This museum is well laid out with a path that takes you around in a meaningful order. There is just one point where it got a little narrow but I managed to get round just fine.
Toilets
Towards the end of the path, there are toilets. They are both accessible... one for ladies and one for gents. The ladies was clean and well equipped.
Staff
There was just a young girl at the entrance. She was fine but seemed very shy and didn't really talk to us.
