Overview
We visited Unst Heritage Centre as part of a motorhome trip to Unst. It explains the history, geology and culture of Unst. It is split up into several rooms, each with a theme.
Transport & Parking
There is a car park with blue badge spaces. We arrived by motorhome and parked out of the way, as we wanted to leave the motorhome parked here whilst also visiting Unst Boat Haven (see separate review).
Access
The whole site is on one floor and everything is level. The doorways aren't especially wide but were fine for my wheelchair. Everything is well spaced out and it was easy to access all displays.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet, which was clean and well equipped.
Staff
There was just one lady there and she was lovely. She explained where everything was and was very helpful.
