Victoria Coach Station is the largest coach station in London. You can get coach services from a number of different providers as well as a number of London buses. The coach operators that are available here (at the time I visited) are National Express, Flixbus, Megabus, BlaBlaBus and Sinbad Coaches. There are a total of 22 bus stands and there are separate areas for departures and arrivals. In the departures section of the building there are ticket machines, a ticket and information desk, an assistance lounge, a left-luggage service and some other shops.

The main entrance to the departures area of the coach station has automatic sliding doors. Once inside there is an area with absorbent matting and then the floor becomes a linoleum-type floor throughout the rest of the station. From the entrance there is a slight incline down towards some of the gates. The incline is quite steep when you try to come back up it again. As soon as you enter through the main entrance there are a lot of screens on the wall straight ahead which provide information about coaches and their departure and arrival times. There is also an information desk which had a lowered counter, but there was no one at this desk when I went by. The desk had hearing loop symbols on it. The signage around the building was clear and easy to follow. I didn’t see any alternative formats in use for signage. There were a number of automatic ticket machines available to use, some of them had interaction points that were quite high up. Just next to the machines there was an area with manned ticket desks. These desks all seemed quite high up. The departure gates were all signposted with a large number and they had some seating available by each one. The seating had backrests and armrests between each seat. The departure gates had automatic sliding doors leading out to the bus stand. There was a mobility assistance lounge which was clearly signposted. It was an entirely separate room to the rest of the area. It had automatic sliding doors which opened via a large button. Inside there was a lowered desk with the assistance staff behind it. There was lots of seating inside and even some wheelchairs that the assistance team could use if someone needed assistance moving around the building.

There are a number of international and domestic coach services available from this coach station. The coaches are available through National Express, Flixbus, Megabus, BlaBlaBus and Sinbad Coaches. There are some London bus routes that stop here including: 11, 44, 170, C1, C10, N11, and N44. Victoria Railway Station is approximately 550 metres away from the coach station. This is roughly an eight minute walk or wheel. Connected to the railway station is the Underground station where you can get the Victoria Line, District Line, and Circle Line. There isn’t any parking available here.

    Accessible Toilets

There were signs for an accessible toilet but I was unable to locate it while I was there.
