    Disabled access to museum

The whole visit was a huge pleasure, we were invited to use the dedicated parking facility for our campervan right by the entrance. The museum was created and is run by volunteers all of which made us welcome. The site contains many examples of steam pumps and water handling machinery and is of interesst to all age groups with interactive machines for kids of all ages. The greatest joy to me though was the effort that had been made to accomodate wheelchair users. There is a "Handy guide for wheel chair users" and access to all parts of the site is easily attainable. Great day. Well done the Waterworks Museum.
