Overview
We visited on a Sunday afternoon, whilst on holiday in Somerset. We also attended the 15:00 evensong, which was beautiful!
Transport & Parking
We arrived by motorhome and parked on High Street in a timed bay but with my blue badge. There was a parking attendant out ticketing but we were fine. It is a short walk from High Street to the cathedral.
Access
I found access into and around the cathedral excellent! There were a couple of small parts that I couldn't access but for a building of its age and character, they couldn't have done much better. When we looked around and entered the quire (where evensong is held) I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't have anywhere suitable to sit for the service, but they sorted me out quickly and offered me a place next to a pew where there was room for my assistance dog and we were next to my husband.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet just before the lift to the cafe. It was fine, clean, had everything I needed.
Staff
The staff were lovely. Everyone was polite, friendly and helpful.
