Excellent
Wells Cathedral is perfect. A gorgeous setting, well thought through acessibility, decent accessible toilets and a lift to the tea shop. What more could anyone want? We stayed in The Swan Hotel opposite the Cathedral and parked in their car park so parking wasn't an issue.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
This had been well thought through. There were one or two areas that I couldn't get to because of the multiple steps (e.g. The Chapter House), however in such a historic building I don't see how that could have improved the access.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We parked in The Swan Hotel where we were staying so there was no problem.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
Lovely, clean, accessible loos with lots of grab rails.
Staff
Excellent
Helpful when needed but didn't bat an eyelid about having a wheelchair user as part of the guided tour or in the cafe. Perfect.
Additional Information
Highly recommended. Parking could be an issue if you are not staying nearby.
