Overview
This is (obviously) a museum concerned with local policing. I am a retired policeman and former resident of Birmingham and found it very interesting. I spent an unhurried hour in there. This museum is accessible for some disabled users but I don't think it is suitable for wheelchair users.
Transport & Parking
I got there on the excellent West Midlands Metro tram network. Very clean, modern and disabled friendly. The nearest tram stop is a short, mainly pedestrianised, walk away.
Access
I use a Rehasene 4 wheel rollator and was able to access all areas. There are 2 fairly substantial steps at the entrance/exit and no lift or ramp access into and out of the building. There are many small (2"?) steps into the old cells throughout the museum. There is good internal lift access to all floors. The main problem is that most of the exhibits are in the old cells. My rollator is 24" wide and I could just get it through the cell doors. I don't think a wheelchair would get in.
Toilets
Easily accessible, clean and spacious.
Staff
I only met the lady on the door but she was very friendly and helpful.
