Excellent

I hadn't expected to enjoy the visit as seeing and taking in places as a visually impaired person is not always easy. The Abbey broke the mould with its helpful staff and fantastic audio guide; complete with pictures. Could have easily stayed longer!

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

Five stars because it was completely different to what I had expected. Getting in was the first challenge as I wasn't sure where to go. My colleague spotted the way and I followed. Once inside a helpful steward offered an audio guide and explained how it worked, told us about getting around, and pointed me in the right direction.

Accessible Toilets

Good

There were toilets and these included an accessible toilet. They weren't too easy to find at first but the stewards were very helpful and pointed out where to go.

Staff

Excellent

The helpfulness of stewards in showing the way and generally helping with directions and information was great. Everyone I met on the visit was friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Additional Information

The quality of the audio guide and its accompanying images brought the visit alive. The helpfulness of the stewards was also great as they made the visit easier and more enjoyable. I ran out of time for the visit and would definitely return again.
