Overview
I visited on a sunny Saturday and it was very busy. It's free for disabled visitors (£5 for the Diamond Jubilee Gallery which is accessible via a lift). There are parts of the Abbey which are inaccessible to wheelchair users because of steps (the main one being the Lady Chapel). The floor is uneven in places. The free audio/visual guide is very good and a must-have for interested visitors.
Transport & Parking
I got there using the Underground to Westminster station (which has step free access). The Abbey is a short walk away.
Access
Entrance is step free. The main part of the Abbey is step free. Some of the side chapels have stepped entrances.
Toilets
The one I used (near the entrance to the Diamond Jubilee Gallery) was fine.
Staff
The ones I spoke to were fine, although the Abbey was very crowded and they were very busy.
