Lower Braes Woodland Project a new initiative to engage local people with nature. at Westquarter Glen a native woodland and waterfall Developed by members of the former WWG, Lower Braes Community Council, Urban Warriors team of volunteers and more. We are community group with the intention of working together to develop a space for people to discover and explore, discover nature and get wild in the local area. Our motto is people come together in peace and harmony. The glen is a place for everyone and we are looking for volunteers to help with Litter Picks Painting railings and bridges Paths maintenance Leaf sweeps Community planting & more Come & join our friendly volunteers. There is something for everyone! The glen is a haven of wildlife, incl. trees, beasties, flower and badgers it is also a place worth conserving and enabling people to visit whether that is to play, walk, cycle or just relax.
