This single storey barn has been sympathetically restored with a large window that looks across the Vale of York and Hambleton Hills. The group of eighteenth-century farm buildings are situated around a paved courtyard in open countryside. It is situated less than a mile from Fountains Abbey, a World Heritage site with spectacular ruins of a twelfth-century Cistercian abbey and Studley Water Garden all of which you have free entry to during opening hours. It offers flexible wheelchairs friendly space and adapted facilities. Sleeps two (6’ double which can be converted into a twin on request).

The cottage has been assessed as accessible for wheelchair users. The wet-room shower makes this cottage accessible to wheelchair users who transfer without use of hoist. The WC has support rails and back reast. The shower has two drop down support rails and shower seat. The kitchen is not fully accessible. An access statement is available.
