Overview

Situated 1 mile from the city centre, it is accessible by public transport. A short walk (50 metres) from the nearest bus stop, the swimming pool can be identified by the large text on the building that reads: 'Yearsley swimming pool'. The swimming pool is sign-posted within the locality.

Transport & Parking

Although disabled parking bay are available these are not immediately outside the entrance. However these are situated not far away (14 metres).

Access

From the pavement the approach is a flat and levelled surface. Entrance has a large control pad/button to open the door. The pool has a hoist facility.

Toilets

Due to the layout/design of the building, toilets are situated pool-side (though bear in mind this is an Edwardian building). There is a disabled access toilet and changing facilities.

Staff

Staff were courteous, helpful and presentable
