Aerospace Bristol for QS Car Meeting

This venue has previously been seen by someone from euan's guide as an older type of ticket was already in place. The bathroom was clear and tidy and the facilities like paper and soap were full up. The only thing that didn't work was the sensor for the sanitary bin and on closer inspection it would appear the batteries have run out and need replacing. A member of staff was notified as the toilet was near the shop and they were going to let a relevant person know who could make the change. I will visit again to check if this has now been done

The British Home of Concorde

Aerospace Bristol is modern, spacious museum of aviation. It's main attraction is that it has the last Concorde ever to fly amongst its exhibits. In addition to Concorde though it has a separate set of galleries covering the history of aviation and Bristol's part in it. It is very accessible although completely non ambulant people will not be able to actually board Concorde.

Very accessible, even to take a look in Concorde

Great place to visit, several disabled parking spaces right outside the entrance, and the area is very flat and mainly on one level. Easy to get around the exhibits. There is a disabled toilet in this building and cafe next to it. Across from the main building is another building housing Concorde with a selection of tables underneath if you want to take a packed lunch to eat. There is a lift upstairs and if you want to go inside Concorde there is a small lift to take you up, however due to the size restrictions inside the plane itself you can't really take a wheelchair inside, although I did see them trying to assist one person. My husband left his wheelchair outside and was able to walk down through the plane using the seats as support. There is an accessible toilet next to the lift.
