    Petite Patchway

Patchway is a small station with a long history dating back to the 19th century. It’s more than just a small station serving the local town of Patchway, which I was surprised to learn is twinned with Clermont-l’Hérault in France and Gauting in Germany. On platform 1, there was an art installation named In Our Hands by Katie Hanning, which was several panels showing hands spelling out "Together We Are Stronger" in British Sign Language and was another unexpected surprise. It’s the local stop for Bristol Aerospace, which was my intended destination for the day.
