You have to book accessible room by phone, not available on line. Main issue was with the toilet, really not much room to manoeuvre/transfer. Shower 'ok' but shower curtain short so place soaking. A raised lip between bathroom and bedroom. Tight squeeze at bed with alarm..

The Yu Spa is attached to the Apex Hotel in Dundee and guest of the hotel can use the swimming pool if they want to. The pool is 1.2 m throughout it length and is a very popular both with guest and locals who can purchase membership to use the pool and gym with in the spa . The Spa also offers a range of different treatments such as Aromatherapy and the Spa its self will be pleased to answer any questions you may have on this. There are separate male and female changing facilities hotel guests are given a towel to use as well as a band to operate the lockers. The Spa is open from 6.30am to 10pm and 9pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The Apex Hotel is situated in W Victoria Dock Road close to the Banks of the Tay and just Five minutes away from Dundee Bus Station. The main entrance , bar and restaurant areas have very high ceilings that help give it a very airy feel which was extremely helpful during the hot weather during our stay . The bar and restaurant are located on the ground floor area and the restaurant has chairs that can be easily moved by the staff if a Wheelchair user needs access The reception desk is on the Left hand side as you enter from the car park and is high however staff will be pleased to move around to allow you to book in and use card reader etc if required the bar and restaurant area are off to the left just after the reception desk The lifts to all floors are also to the left after the reception desk area. The door to the Yu Spa area is located on the Right accross from the reception desk The bedrooms all have the normal Tea/ Coffee facilities as well as a safe and small fridge this was very helpful in keeping water cold if you need to take any prescription medication. There is also a small outdoor area that has a number of benches and tables where you can enjoy a drink if the weather is nice The restaurant has a varied menu form Breakfast Lunch and Dinner and will ask if you have any allergies etc
