Disabled Travellers Bicester trip PART ONE Start of a days trip for you

Bicester Village car parking is FREE. In August 2022 one of our fellow reviewers mention he was charged £4.00 for parking here, but we can only assume he pre-booked a parking space, of which a charge is made for this special privilege, or he must have mistakingly parked in an allocated pre-booking space without knowing it, so he was charged, but there a thousands of FREE parking spaces available, including many disabled spaces, it’s a huge car park, so we are sure we all feel for Ken about this, and encourage him to go again and see that it is free for him and ourselves. On todays day out trip, we suggest a round trip for you taking in EIGHT PARTS which we review each part, and it will give you a nice free day out, unless you buy a coffee or a more substantial drink of some sort, but other than that, as we always do, there is no charge for a disabled person to make, (if you have a blue badge of course, where parking is always free). Can we show you our intended trip today. PART ONE. Bicester Village An overview of this fantastic shopping outlet. PART TWO. Cecconis restaurant. ( for breakfast, or a coffee break ) PART THREE. Chesterton village. A drive through PART FOUR. Chesterton Hotel. Drinks break and toilets, with a review of hotel PART FIVE. Weston-on-the-green. A look around a delightful thatch village PART SIX. Weston Manor hotel. Take a look around this historical lovely hotel PART SEVEN. Weston Manor hotel. More details to be able to enjoy the hotel PART EIGHT. Weston Manor Grounds. A walk around the lovely gardens. We offer you many historical notes with each part to help you enjoy a good read, or to encourage you to go and see these places if you possibly can. PART ONE starts our day at Bicester Village shopping outlets, an excellent place to start the trip, and we have already provided THREE REVIEWS for you, so do look at them on Euans Guide, typing in BICESTER VILLAGE in the search box. It takes us an hours drive to get here from Worcester, so a cup of coffee is the ideal start, that’s why we visited the newly opened Cecconi’s restaurant, as reviewed on part two. There are many disabled bays available FREE of any charge (photo 1) and an easy level ride towards the shops (photo 2) which have wide and open paths for easy rides around the shops (photo 3) there are many restaurants available and drinks break points, such as Cecconi’s (photo 4) and a great choice of shopping outlets (photo 5). To see more about the Village, READ OUR THREE OTHER REVIEWS Just type in Bicester village in search box on Euans Guide. Now, if money is not a problem for you, and you enjoy shopping, and spend a lot of money, then Bicester Village May, we say May specially and personally invite you to rest with them in THE APARTMENTS, and here you will be spoilt and well looked after. You may pre-book your own parking space, at a cost, of around just £4.00 (photo 6) next door to THE APARTMENTS (photo 7) and even taken there and around the village on their adapted motor (photo 8) and a private entrance staffed by helpful employees will invite you to your APARTMENT for the day. For ourselves, a look is all we will ever have, but then it’s just a short distance beyond THE APARTMENTS (photo 9) to return to the car parks (photo 10) OUR FINAL THOUGHTS it was a lovely trip throughout the winter, but if you wait until Spring or Summer then you will have the colourful flowers and green leaves of native trees to enjoy. Both hotels are worth a visit, the villages were interesting, and Bicester is always a delight, even if like us, you do not spend a penny, other than on drinks or food. ================================================================ We suggest you now set your sat NAV to follow our days trip to our next port of call OX26 1UE. CHESTERTON. and read our PART TWO REVIEW for visiting Chesterton

Disabled Travellers 3rd visit to outstanding 5* shopping village

SAT NAV OX26 6WD. BICESTER VILLAGE. BICESTER This is a shopping experience you do not want to miss, a “must see” delightful half day out, but because it is so popular a place, we want to offer you help on parking here, because the car parks can be really full at times, so see how we suggest you arrange your parking. These spaces are at the far right hand corner of the shopping village, and you need to drive past all the main car park areas to get round to it. If a parking attendant is available or comes up to you, explain you have a space booked and they will help you to reach the area. There are many bays available when pre-booked close to this last parking area (photo 1) but your allocated bay will be at the front (photo 2) very close to the shops. As you approach with your scooter or chair, the whole area is beautifully landscaped (photo 3) with greenery and colourful displays (photo 4) that lead to restaurants (photo 5) and shopping outlets (photo 6) which are of well known designers, so a bit expensive, but at much reduced prices as compared with town shops, and anyway, you do not need to spend a penny, just window shop as we have to do, it’s still a very interesting experience, just to see how the other half lives, we love this type of village, pit’s just a joy to wander around (photo 7) even for the men as there are shops just for them (photo 8) and there are seven blocks of toilet facilities available as you stroll through the village (photo 9) all beautifully maintained with lots of cubicles (photo 10) and disabled have plenty of room for all size chairs, with grab handles and pull cords (photo 11) There are seating areas all through the village (photo 12) so you and your carer can rest anytime you like, which will also help your wallet rest for a while, before you continue on your journey (photo 13). This is an ideal visit for disabled as it offers full support, and as stated, you do not need to spend, just enjoy. The village is only about an hours drive from London, about an hour and quarter from the midlands, and just an hour and a half from Bristol, with motorway connections to get you there easily. WE PERSONALLY RECOMMEND BICESTER VILLAGE TO OUR DISABLED FRIENDS. PLEASE READ OUR OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS VILLAGE AS WELL.

    Parking charges

I went here before I was disabled and am shocked to see that they now charge (£4:00) for parking, this is quite scandalous, I don’t know of any other shopping centre that make a charge at all, especially for disabled visitors Ken Smith
