Black Sabbath Bench & Bridge

We have wanted to go to the Black Sabbath Bridge for a while but had struggled a little with parking and access for a wheelchair user given the location. However we found two perfect spaces just five minutes from the Bridge just behind the Birmingham Rep. I have put a photo and postcode of where the parking is and the short walk to the bench in the photos. I imagine on a show day or weekend the two spaces will go quickly - we were there at 8.30am on a Sunday! Depending on ability there are also spaces at the Utilia Arena and Brindley Place but these are a longer walk away. The Bridge itself is wide and there was plenty of space to have a proper look on a quiet Sunday morning.

Black Sabbath Bridge stretches over the canal at Brindley Place. The bridge was renamed in 2019 to honour one of the most impactful metal bands in the UK. The bridge features a steel bench etched with the faces and signatures of band members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. There's not a great deal you can say about a bench, but it's a great photo opportunity if you're in the area.
