    Cardiff Central Library is located in the heart of the city centre in an accessible and iconic building. It is easy and free to join and you can get involved in the following activities and events and lots more! - Learn New Skills at Code Clubs, family history sessions and Wales only Google Developer Group. - Get Online through free WiFi and PC access. - Boost your Health & Well-being through books that can help. - Find information on a wide range of subjects and attend Talks and Events. - Use safe welcoming spaces to study, relax or meet people. - Take part in children’s events and activities including story times, rhyme times and the Summer Reading Challenge.

    Storeys of Stories

    It's not common for a library to be opened by one of the biggest bands in the host country, but this library is far from common. On the first floor, you'll find a plaque by the lifts highlighting that the library was opened by the Manic Street Preachers in 2009. The Lord Mayor was also there, but I've not heard his album! The building hosts community events, has 38 computers available (that I could see) for hire, presentation suites, a hub for welfare and benefits advice, housing support, and operates as a warm bank. Distributed over six floors, there are storeys upon storeys of stories.

    Accessible Library with range of other Council Services

    A wheelchair accessible building with lift access to al floors. Included County Council hub where residents can apply for disabled bus pass for free travel. Tall building means a lot of lift use.

    Cardiff Central Library is a modern, accessible building for disabled visitors with lifts, ramps and disabled toilet facilities as well as offering many accessible features such as audiobooks, braille books etc. The Library Service aims to be accessible to everyone in the community.
