Spice Quarter

The restaurant was booked by a family member who forgot to check Access. On being greeted by a flight of stairs one of our party went up to check if there was a lift in this new building. The answer was no. Not wanting to ruin others evening I went up the stairs with support by others and several stops. It was not helped by the stairs being like an ice rink. By the time we got in I was exhausted. The meal was ruined for me knowing I had to go back down. The venue did have a disabled toilet but that was out of order. I was prevented by my companions from making the descent on my bum but it was a scary trip down for all of us. All in all very disappointing that in what looked like a new build/ refurb that no thought was made to disabled access.
