Huge thank you to Coram for improving disabled access

This is an update review is for the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. One year on from my first visit here, see previous reviews, I returned for another conference. My experience was very different from previous visit, when I had complained about the accessible toilet provision. This time it was a very positive and accessible experience. I'd like to huge thank Coram and particularly Christine Kelly, Director, People and Compliance for listening, taking on board and making improvements. I really appreciate everything you have done. The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is on the Coram Campus and can accommodate up to 160 delegates.

Positive Update: Staff Did Not Know Where Accessible Toilet Was

This is my second Euan's Guide review for Coram. I last visited in October 2022 and wrote a review for their Coram Queen Elizabeth II Centre. This review is for their reception building when I visited their Between the Lines Panel event. I have put the positive and detailed reply to my complaint in the Additional Information section below.

Disappointing - Accessible toilet is not accessible UPDATE

This review is for the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, which is on the Coram Campus. it opened in 2019 and can accommodate up to 160 delegates. The accessible toilet arrangements are inadequate and its location an afterthought involving a walk through 2 meeting rooms. It's shameful a modern building was designed without due regards to disabled people safe and accessible toileting needs. This on its own for me makes it unsuitable for a conference venue as I am reliant on using an accessible toilet. UPDATE: 15/11/2022: I had a reply to my complaint from Christine Kelly, Director, People and Compliance. Please see Additional information to read the response.
