Great day out for Freddie (my powerchair) - and me 😁

Most paths made of compacted stone so a bit uncomfortable but not too bad, can be a bit bumpy in odd places. Great access to Adventure and Petting barns, flat floor, plenty of space to get around. Wooden plank access to some parts - easy to navigate. Wheelchair access for one chair onto trailer for the 30 min tractor ride round the complex. Reasonable room in gift shop/cafe/restaurant area, all flat.

Disabled Travellers view the rare breeds

Very interesting and pleasant visit of the rare breeds, of which you will enjoy seeing so many breeds, at this time of Spring, it will depend on the births that are in the pens, but it is enjoyable just taking a look at the hard work the farm is doing. Alright, it may be difficult for disabled, but the kids will love it, and there are other things to do as well as seeing the animals, so we would recommend visiting, just bear in mind the slopes and the size of the farm, its huge.

Disabled Traveller visits the Cotswold farm park project

The young kids will love this, but it’s not wheelchair friendly at all, even the car park will cause problems if raining. There is a slope up to the entrance to pay, but this is a reasonable cost. Spring 2025 was £12.50 but carers are free, (with proof) and worth the visit. The shop really is not worth bothering with, just plain quite useless items designed just to make money, so missing this will not be a worry. However, the cafe is inside, and although a small selection of food, it looked ok, we enjoyed a very crumbly falling apart scone, tasty enough if you could be bothered to pick up the very dry scone. We were not impressed as you may gather. Our notes in below sections will tell you how difficult we found it for disabled to get around, lots of slopes, and grass verges up to the pens, very tiring for a carer. Over all though, we did enjoy our visit, worth trying it out, and buying a bag of food at entrance was worth while, but watch out for fast stealing reactions of the animals.
