Dog friendly zoo in the Cotswolds

Cotswold wildlife park is amazing. It has so much to see and do and allows you to take your furry friend along too! You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic. The zoo have accessible parking although offer no discounts for people with disabilities or their carers. There are plenty of accessible toilets and even the train has a wheelchair space. Overall a really great day but there are improvements to be made.

    Flat access around wildlife park

Great place to visit with the family. All flat paths but some barriers might obstruct the view of a wheelchair user. Lots of amazing animals and reptiles to see, all seem well looked after and cared for.

    Cant change the British weather

Found the park to have easy access all round, plenty of parking, hard gravel paths due to distances could be hard work for a self propelled wheelchair user. Plenty of accessible toliets around the park. Only 2 places were not accessible, a hump back type bridge and the fruit bat We hired a mobility scooter from the park for £10 for the day, there is a security deposit for £50, to be cash or card details ( on our visit no money was pre authorised on the card) There is no discounts for disabled or carers, unless larger groups, however the cost is not over the top and a good amount for a family day out
