Overview
This has fast become our favourite hotel, so in November 2024 we celebrated our 62nd anniversary here with them, and we can tell you, we were spoilt. But almost all reviews you read about COWORTH will tell you same, the staff spoil you, so over the next 6 reviews we offer on Euans guide, we want to try and show you why this hotel, The Dorchester COWORTH Park, is our top rated hotel and estate at the moment. Having entered the estate through the big gates, the signpost will direct you left, so drive on round the bends, to first pass the new stables cottages, then pass the Spa and its formal pool on your left, and continue on to reach the main house. Pull up by the front entrance for hotel, and a valet will greet you, and help you unload any luggage if you are staying here, but also if you are just a casual day visitor wishing to see what the hotel looks like. Well worth popping in and looking around. This is certainly a high class hotel, but everyone will find a warm welcome from friendly staff who will immediately make you feel relaxed and at ease. ( To help you further, PLEASE READ OUR PREVIOUS REVIEWS for COWORTH PARK ) The deco and well appointed furnishings are very pleasant, there are areas you may sit and relax with a pot of tea served in a silver teapot and Wedgewood china pottery, before you venture outside to wander around the gardens and along to the pools around the BARN restaurant, then onward into the meadows, a very pleasant hour or two enjoying the fresh air of the Ascot estate. When you return to the hotel, the very tasty passageways will lead up to the bedrooms. ( we then encourage you to read our next reviews for COWORTH to get a full taste ) SEE THIS LIST ON OUR LAST PHOTO BELOW. Then read our review for LUNCH AT THE BARN RESTAURANT
Transport & Parking
As you enter the driveway through the metal gates, the land opens up before you, and offers views over this huge estate, and in autumn, it’s in its glory, yellows, copper, reds, brown of all shades add a beauty all of its own. No photo can capture it as it really is, you need to go and see it for yourself. Continue to drive to the left after passing through main gate. Pass the pool outside the spa, and continue up to the mansion. Park up close to the hotels entrance, and a valet will see to your car if you need help, and they will take it to the carpark for you, while you enter hotel and up to reception desk. If you can manage without help, then drive on a few yards to pass hotels entrance, and a large carpark will be to your left. It’s only a shortish push then to get to main hotel as you walk along the winding path.

Everything is on the level for you, wide spaces so you can move around, areas where you may place your scooter, and there is a lift available for the main mansion and it’s lovely bedrooms.
