The staff couldn’t be more helpful with helping to navigate, locate disabled access, calling ahead to make sure our group made the tours and to offer suggestions. It is possible to access part of the castle all shops and the wartime tunnels. Beware of steep inclines if in a wheelchair on your own but thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Limitations of heritage site but when otherwise all fine and there was a computer to see the upper castle areas virtually.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The car park is right at the top. The site has a visitor bus as it is big and the ramp was ready in 2 seconds and no fuss
