ExCeL London

Located on floor 1 above rooms S7-S9, accessible via a lift. ✅ Clean, scooter fit, no obstacles, decent dryer, this one didn't need a Radar key, which was preferable to the other ❓ The lift has buttons for floor 0, 1, 2 on one side and only 0 and 2 on the other. Many lift passengers got confused, but I remembered this from a few years ago. Not sure why level 1 only has button one side. ❌ Navigating the corridor, heavy door, cord wasn't to the floor. Lift doors were too quick to close (several of us got chomped!)

Located by S9 ✅ Clean, scooter fit, no obstacles, decent dryer ❓ Radar key required. I knocked and thought I heard someone respond, so I didn't enter. After waiting a few mins, security told me no one was in there as the lock was showing white (vacant) and occupied would show red. I don't know if all Radar key loos have this logic. Thought I'd share that with those don't know, because even I learned something! ❌ Having to leave the exhibit room to access the toilet, heavy door which required gymnastics and/or help, cord wasn't to the floor.

Excel is an exhibition centre. I attended the first day of Disability Expo there. While on paper Excel looks accessible, apart from the step free access, the venue is very disappointing regarding access.
