    Award-winning family-run visitor attraction near Poole in Dorset. The Palmer's have designed everything for children 8 years and under! Opened in 1998, the attention to detail and happy, friendly staff make all the difference in delivering great customer service. Acres of adventure to explore, lots of indoor and outdoor play areas for children's imaginations to run free, animal activities, tractor rides, and LOTS more! The Hen House restaurant served delicious home-cooked meals, snacks, drinks, and scrumptious cakes and biscuits. Gift shop, free parking, and plenty of toilet facilities. There are disabled parking spaces available in the car park. The majority of the park is level or with ramps for wheelchairs/pushchairs. There are accessible toilet facilities and a membership discount for carers/disabled visitors. Opening times and prices vary throughout the year.     Great for kids but surfaces worrying

    As a farm, its surfaces are mainly poured concrete with gaps and rough joins, so you need to be careful with a manual wheelchair. Some ramps caused our wheelchair to ‘bottom out’ . Busy accessible restaurant with friendly helpful staff. 2 disabled loos shared as baby changing, but only one has grab rails. Sand/gravel paths difficult when wet.

Our team's approach is to help you as much, or a little, as you require. Please just ask. You can feel happy in the knowledge that you can come to Farmer Palmer's to meet our lovely animals. Disabilities and Accessibility Site Information Our site is not large and the surfaces are all even or ramps, including the woodland walk. (You can still visit and enjoy, just ask) Other ways we help: Helpful, trained team members to offer personal assistance Free Wheelchair for you to borrow should you require one Wide doorways and ramps Even pathways and gravel or concrete We welcome guide/sensory dogs on leads Information signs in larger print Menus are available in larger print, just ask.     Installed in 2019, ramp accessed accessible toilet block. Wide doorways and grab rails. Additional accessible toilets are available in the Hen House restaurant. The Hen House Restaurant has two Disabled Toilets and Baby Change Room available with extra baby change facilities in the disabled and female toilets. The accessible toilet block is adjacent to the Little Farmer’s Fun Barn. It has two large rooms built so that a buggy, wheelchair, and mobility scooter can all maneuver freely inside. These are known as the ‘Family Rooms’. There is a third large room also in this area. It features an adult table inside. There are also three cubicle toilets inside. All these rooms are fitted with Baby Changing facilities.
