The facilities at Forest Hill Pools offer a wide range of options for every member of the family. Complete your workout in a 35 station gym offering fitness zones for cardio, strength and resistance training, or enjoy a group workout in one of our studios offering classes such as HIIT and Zumba. Spin in our brand new Group Cycle zone, and then wind down in a Yoga class. And if you’re a swimmer we have a six-lane, 25m pool that suits both fitness and recreational needs and hosts our popular Water Workout classes. The learner pool offers fun for all the family and is home to our swimming lessons. You can also hire our meeting room and relax in our Café, which follows the Healthier Catering Commitment scheme. We also have a hearing loop at reception desk to assist individuals with reduced ranges of hearing. All that within a short walk from Forest Hill train station and located in a Victorian-style building that is a reminder of the original swimming pool built in 1884. The current site has an added modern structure for a light and airy atmosphere and offers a range of activities to the local community. Disabled Access Information Provided by Forest Hill Pools

Disabled Access at Forest Hill Pools

There are two entrances to the building, 1 entrance to the building is at ground level, with automatic doors. The other entrance can be accessed via a ramp also with automatic door. Once inside the building all ground floor activities are on one level. On the ground floor we have disabled toilets and changing facilities, we also have a changing room with a hoist and changing bed. To gain access to either of the swimming pools we have a mobile pool hoist. Upstairs can be reached via a lift. Once upstairs we have a gym with push pull doors and a functional gym space again with push pull doors. The centre has 2 aerobic studios, both aerobic studios have push entry doors. Upstairs also has disabled toilets and changing facilities.

There is 1 disabled bay at the centre, there is no other parking at the venue. Parking is on street around the building and will need a blue badge to be displayed. Please ensure local signage is read and local parking restrictions are followed.

All toilets in the facility are have step free access. Our Accessible change toilets the doors a wide enough for wheelchairs/powerchairs. Whilst we don't have a changing places toilet we do have a changing facility with a hoist and changing bed.
