    Just about accessible with help

I wanted to visit Fort Charlotte whilst we were in Lerwick, as I'm a big fan of Bridgerton and this fort was named after Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III. I knew it was going to be tricky getting in and hubby was on hand to help.

    Fort Charlotte

Did you know that Fort Charlotte was built in the 1650's during the First Anglo-Dutch War? It was unfortunate that when I visited, part of Fort Charlotte was closed for reconstruction.
