Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

I stayed here just before a Recents holiday to Tenerife, one night with a few weeks parking was very reasonable in fact we enjoyed it that much we stayed on our return prior to travelling home. Nice meals and relaxing venue next door to a very busy International Airport. We had booked a access room and upon entering the room which was very large the bathroom was a fully fitted wet room with excellent shower facilities, the bed was nice and low I had ample space either side to park my chair, everything about the room has been thought out in advance and it was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant that evening and it was very accommodating plenty of space to sit and eat without feeling like you’re trapped in a small restaurant, everything about the venue felt accommodating. The following morning we had a breakfast which was included in the price and it was if you’ve cooked breakfast and European depending on what you wanted. Tea and coffee were also included alongside fruit juice. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Great hotel location for Edinburgh & Airport. Easy access for disabled travellers with wet rooms available next to lifts, middle of floor and also at end of floor. There is disabled parking available out side 4-6 spaces, however you are charged £12 per night to park. The person that I dealt with when checking in asked if she could waive or discount this, though was not allowed as it was the General Managers rules. The room was fine, plenty of room for the scooter. Though there was little room between the toilet and lowered basin. Also no soap dispenser at this basin. The soap dispensers for the walk in shower are on the same wall as the seat, so not easy to get to. There is no shower curtain so near enough the whole room gets wet! The bedside light swtiches are also high and not very accessible.
