EasyJet

I was on a flight with them this morning, once landed the cabin crew asked who were the two requiring help to get down the stairs, holding everyone back from exiting the plane , it turned into a game show until we admitted who it was, coercing us to publicly announce our medical difficulties which I find unfair and acutely embarrassing, please update training to rectify this wrong 😡

I fly regularly with easyJet and very rarely have had a negative experience. The assistance service at Edinburgh airport is very good and improving. Once I select assistance on easy jet website, the assistance team at the airport pick things up from there. It’s worth noting that the assistance team are out sourced and do not work with easy jet directly. Destination airports are a different matter. More often than not, they are outsourced and poorly paid. I have been hassled for a tip at some airports including Munich where I often fly into. I have been told by assistance staff that they don’t care if I miss my flight. It apparently helps their cause when they cannot bring all disabled passengers to the gate on time. These things are outrageous but out with the control of individual airlines. However, collectively, airlines could make disabled passengers more of a priority and force better services. I am flying again with EasyJet on 16th July and will observe how I am treated. Generally, I cannot complain about the services I have received.
