Amazing place New

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
Visited with mobility scooter (for outside) and wheelchair (for indoors). It’s a very popular place, with gallery, farm shop, gardens, restaurant and bar. Most outside spaces are paved (concrete) and inside flat - but with small lips at doorways, somewhat tricky with wheelchairs. We didn’t explore the gardens (paths looked a bit rough and we were really there for the gallery exhibition. The only negative we had was that we were completely ignored at the bar/coffee shop, but bought takeaway coffees (and ice cream) from the farm shop deli and drank them in the picnic area (loose slate surface).
Transport & Parking
We drove through lots of narrow lanes. There was no marked disabled parking but we found a wide space close to the farm shop with a good surface. The overflow car park is on grass. We noticed afterwards that there are several EV charging points (but all were occupied when we arrived)
Access
Everything was on a single level. Outside was easy with the mobility scooter, but most would have been ok with the wheelchair. Plenty of space inside both the gallery and farm shop for the wheelchair, even the bookshop’s brick surface was ok for the wheelchair. The only negative was that each doorway had a lip requiring the wheelchair to be tipped back.
Toilets
Single disabled loo, shared as usual with baby change. Adequate. Not especially spacious, but just enough room for wheelchair and carer, but not to turn wheelchair round.
Staff
All staff helpful, except bar/cafe waiters who completely ignored us.
