Haven Suites

This apartment was recommended to me by a FB page that I'm a member of. I booked it directly by messaging Hannah on WhatsApp. It was really straightforward The apartment is located not far from one of the best attractions like Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, and is about 20 mins. drive to Inverness. I believe this complex is for disabled people and every apartment is adapted for people with disabilities. The complex also has a cafe where u can buy coffee, cakes, or order food. The apartment that we stayed in is called Jordan. Very spacious! The living room is so big that I was able to do a 180° turn on my mob. scooter without reversing! It has x2 rooms with hospital beds, an accessible en suite bathroom, and if u require a hoist, there is one throughout! It also has a bedroom for carers that has x2 single beds and also an en suite bathroom. This apartment has everything a disabled person would require regardless of their disability.. it is a heaven for a person with a disability! Overall, I would give this apartment 10 out of 5.

We had a truly amazing stay at the Haven suites. The Jordan suite was fully accessible, with a stunning and spacious lounge and kitchen, making it easy to have both our daughters wheelchair and buggy to be indoors. The H-hoisting in the bedrooms and bathrooms were really helpful, for manoeuvring our daughter easily. We loved the wet room with the choice of both changing plinth and adaptive bath seat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Haven. Every single detail has been carefully thought out to meet the needs of those with profound and complex needs. Thank you so much.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Jordan Suite. The accessibility was incredible! My husband has tetreaplegia and uses a power wheelchair. The suite had everything we needed to be comfortable: lots of space to navigate his power chair, ceiling hoists in the bedrooms and en suite wet rooms, and profiling beds with pressure relieving mattresses. There's plenty of space and beds for a larger group or family. The Haven Centre is a short drive from Inverness and Culloden. Plus they have a cafe with a lovely view and delicious coffee and breakfast to get our day started. We had a wonderful time staying here and exploring the Highlands!
