    Interesting museum and very accessible

We visited whilst on a motorhoming holiday to Somerset. If I'm honest, I'd planned this mostly as a day out for my husband, who loves cars, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed it too. It is quite expensive to get in (£21.38 at the time of writing) but they allow a carer to go free, so it worked out quite good value.

    Wonderful motor museum, very accessible

We went to a WAV show run by Brotherwood mobility vehicle firm, which was situated in the grounds of the museum. When registering for the WAV show, we got free tickets to the museum. The museum was so interesting - starting with beautiful classic cars (works of art, that just happened to be transportation), luxury cars (old and new), some formula one cars, and cars from memory lane (eg Morris). We spent at least 2 hours looking around. The whole museum was accessible, and I was able to self-propel in my wheelchair, as all the floors were smooth. Because of the WAV show, there were a lot of disabled people on the site. No one appeared to be having any accessibilty difficulties. There was a cafe that could be reached by stairs or by a gentle slope.

Wow! Just Wow. A fantastic wheelchair friendly venue, a must for any car enthusiast.

From the moment you go through the doors of the museum you are immersed in car heaven! A fully accessible venue with so many cars to see, you could spend a very long time there! There is currently a Mark Webber and Redbull Racing exhibition on there, a worthy visit for any F1 fan!
