High Lodge is a recreational site set in the heart of Thetford Forest offering extensive play areas, walking trails and cycling trails. There is a cafe, bike shop and hire, Go Ape Tree Top Adventure and Segway as well as additional seasonal attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Parking charges start at £3.50 for the first hour and peaks at £15.50 after 4hours. High Lodge also has an annual membership giving access as many times as you like for a year plus other benefits.

Lovely outdoor space with great accessibility

The path ways are all accessible for a mobility scooter, wheelchair or buggy. Great cafe, bicycle shop , Go Ape , archery and pony riding.

Fine attitudes to access at Forest Live

For a few weeks in the summer each year, Thetford Forest in Suffolk is the venue for a number of concerts, by a variety of bands and other artists. Taking place in a clearing in the forest at the High Lodge centre, these open-air gigs are well worth investigating. And the access is well planned, with great stewarding.
