Highfield Bed & Breakfast

This B&B is an attractive place to stay within the centre of Lymington. It is easy to park there next to the ramp going into the house and the accessible room is the first room as you enter. I was welcomed by the owner and shown to my room. There was plenty of room to manoeuvre in a wheelchair on the laminated floor. The divan bed was comfortable but a bit too high to get my legs in on my own. The wet room was easy to use for me with grab rails either side of the toilet and a solid shower chair with arm rests and one vertical grab rail. Personally I’d have preferred a shower chair attached to the wall! The room had a kettle, fridge, fan/heater, hairdryer and TV along with drinks biscuits and shower gels and moisturisers. I felt pampered by the owners here and was served fresh and good quality food at breakfast.
