Family fun day
We visited Hollywood Bowl at Centertainment for my son's birthday.
I was using a walking stick on this day rather than my wheelchair.
There is lots of parking but it can be difficult when its busy. There are some disabled spots outside the restaurants but not outside the bowling itself.
When you first go in its quite loud and overwhelming because of the arcade. You go up a ramp to the reception. We had booked online but the woman at the desk upgraded us to a VIP lane and gave us a balloon and sticker because it was my sons birthday which was lovely.
The bowling area is dimly lit. There are some lights that change colour and flash a bit on the lanes themselves but they're not too in your face. At the vip lane it is all flat and then there is a step up to go onto the lane. Im not sure if they had any without this step or a ramp though.
You can order food and drinks via the QR code or at the bar. We ordered via the QR code and they came reasonably quickly.
There are a variety of ball weights with different sizes for fingers and a ramp for people to push balls down if required. I used the bumpers on my turn, and these can be turned on and off easily on the screen.
We didnt use the bathrooms there so cant comment on that.
Overall it was a very nice time. I think next time I'll have to use my wheelchair as I found it quite difficult to manage, but it was very fun.
