Holyrood Distillery

Holyrood Distillery is an exciting new attraction and single malt whisky distillery, opening in the heart of Edinburgh Summer 2019, it includes a guided experiential tour, a gin distillery, a whisky distillery, a tasting bar and shop. With the opportunity to bring single malt distilling back to Edinburgh after almost 100 years, Holyrood Distillery will do so with flavour at the forefront. Unconstrained by heritage, category and tradition, we are a distinctively different spirits company, offering a distinctly different distillery experience. Visitors will enjoy a hands-on, sensory, educational experience that will enlighten and delight as they explore the world of flavour whilst touring a working distillery. Situated next to Holyrood Park, our city-centre distillery is located right in the heart of Edinburgh’s distilling history – on St. Leonard’s Lane. The 180 year old building will be thoughtfully renovated to suit our distilling needs, while making room for the visitors we look forward to welcoming.
