Inchgarth is Aberdeen's busiest community centre, with over 150 different clubs and classes available to join. These range from accessible fitness classes to social clubs to crafts. We offer a dedicated programme for adults with additional support needs and many of our existing clubs and classes are inclusive for people who require additional support. Our building is also available to hire for private events, including birthday parties and conferences. Our building is wheelchair accessible and we offer a wide range of services, including, our affordable cafe, pay-as-you-go snooker hall and games room, computer room, library, and award winning community garden. We have a Changing Places toilet with access to an adult changing table and shower room. Disabled Access at Inchgarth Community Centre

We currently undergoing a major extension and access is through our backdoors, which are left open for all visitors. These doors are wide enough to allow access for electronic wheelchairs. We have temporary ramps allowing step free wheelchair access. Our building is all on one level with level access to our main hall, small hall, and cafe. Our Changing Places toilet is accessible through our cafe.

Toilets features at Inchgarth Community Centre

We have an accessible Changing Places toilet with step free access. This is accessible through a button operated automatic door. The doors to the toilet are wide enough to allow access for an electric wheelchair. The toilet comes with handrails and there is an adult changing table. Both the taps and door locks are easy to turn. Our toilet is fitted with a hoist available to use. But users must supply their own slings for the hoist. Opposite our toilet is a shower that visitors are able to use, should they require this facility. But they will need to use their own shower gel and towels. There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.
