Disabled Access at JA The Bruntsfield - Edinburgh

Our main entrance has a number of stairs, however we have accessible access into the hotel via our bar entrance. This is located halfway down the car park. There is an intercom to contact reception for assistance. Reception can then be accessed by the lift. All floors can be accessed by the lift but we do have ground floor bedrooms for guests with mobility difficulties. We have 2 bedrooms located on the ground floor which has both bedroom and bathroom doors at least 32 inches wide. Both these rooms have lowered sinks and grab handles around the toilet. These rooms DO NOT have wet rooms. They have a shower over a low bath with grab handles. These rooms are due to be refurbished in early 2026 where wet rooms will be installed. We do have bedrooms located on the ground floor which have walk-in showers but there is a small set up into the shower. There are no grab handles in these bathrooms. All public areas and meeting space are accessible. Both our restaurant and meeting room have an accessible toilet. We also have an evacuation chair available to assist in the event of an evacuation.
