Toilet clean. Lift access. Plenty of space to manoeuvre and for a carer. Soap full. All in, a good facility although the accessible toilets on floors 1 and 3 were both out of order.

Visiting the store after sometime away it was refreshing to see the new 'upbeat' John Lewis store and how it had been integrated into the St James Quarter shopping mall. Still lots of amazing things to see and buy, a great techie section, and lovely views from the refurbished cafe up on the top floor. Must mention the accessible loos too as they're important to know about for so many people. I found it very easy to get around as a wheelchair user. Good lifts, plenty of space and fairly easy to see everything.

My first venture back since the closures. Things look a little different - the store is being refurbished as the new shopping centre takes shape behind the building AND Covid-19 measures are needed. You can check on-line what is available and there are plenty of staff on hand to help you find your way around. There are marked out lines for queues to both the right and left of the main entrance and the concierge explains where you can find the things you need. The first floor us currently being worked on so women's fashions have moved but there is still stock available. There are no restaurant or cafe facilities at the moment. Toilet facilities are open.
