Leuchie House

This was my 14th annual visit and it didn't disappoint. Some of the long term staff have moved on but as always everyone was well trained, attentive and friendly. The entertainment was excellent and varied. New cooks provided a really diverse and bountiful meals. I made some good friends who've agreed to meet up again next year. For my two outings I chose a microlight flight and the lighthouse trail in North Berwick.

My time at Leuchie House was most enjoyable because of the other participants who also attended when I was there. My favourite activity at the house was the walk with the Ranger, Cameron. I also enjoyed writing poems while there. All the staff were as helpful and attentive as they could have been and made me most welcome. Alice took me to St James quarter, we had a lot of fun and had a proper laugh. Keri took me to the Royal Yacht Britannia, I enjoyed seeing the pictures of and reading about the Queen. The highlight of the holiday was the dinner party on the last night, we all dressed up and had a lovely meal too.

It was my first time going to Leuchie House and I had a wonderful time, I met a lot of lovely people and the staff were amazing. It was the young persons group and it was the first time they’d done it. I went to the seabird centre and the cinema, there was also a murder mystery night which was a lot of fun. We did tai chi and various other crafts, I’ve booked my next three visits and can’t wait to go again.
