Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Entrance is via automatic doors. There 2 lifts one going down to the lower floor;the other to the upper floors. There is always assistance with other doors or the lifts if it is needed. There are plenty of places where guests can rest if the need to.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
We drove and there is ample parking at Leuchie House and assistance with loading/unloading
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
All loos are easily accessible, clean with grab rails and ample space to manoeuvre or for a carer. Assistance is available if required.
Staff
Excellent
Every member of staff is committed to the dare of guests at Leuchie House. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are cheerful at all times, engaging with guests and providing the level of support each person needs.
Additional Information
I cannot rate Leuchie House as an organisation highly enough. It is literally unique. No other place in the UK provides the range of assistance to disabled guests and their carers if they accompany a guest or to such a high level. My visit was made 'special' by the attitude of every member of staff.
