    Linlithgow Palace and Peel

    About

    This royal pleasure palace was the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. You can see the elaborate, restored fountain in action every Sunday in July and August. The high towers look down over the palace's grounds - the Peel - and Linlithgow Loch, an important refuge for wildlife. 1 Apr to 30 Sept: Daily, 9.30am to 5pm (last entry 4.15pm). 1 Oct to 31 Mar: Daily, 10am to 4pm (last entry 3.15pm). Please note the King’s Bed Chamber and the Court Kitchen are closed.
