About

The Liverpool Empire theatre has the largest two-tier auditorium in Britain and can seat 2,381 people. During its time it has hosted many types of entertainment, including variety shows, musicals, operas, pop concerts, and plays. The theatre has hosted two Royal Command Performances and, a Royal Variety Performance to mark Liverpool's being designated a European City of Culture.

Great no stress trip

My daughter and I went to see Hairspray the musical. Disabled access was great and staff very helpful.We had a excellent view of the stage,I think in the stalls no steps

Visit for anniversary show

Step free access to left of the front of building via box office is easy, considering age of building reasonable adaptation has been made.

Great show. Awful access for wheelchair users

I came to see strictly come dancing with a friend in May 2019. The show was great. The visibility from being at the far back was atrocious. Thank goodness my friend was on hand to do some videoing
