Maggie's Grill

I made reservations for a table of two via the online openTable app over a month in advance and was quite seamless and I instructed the restaurant that one of my party was in a wheelchair, three weeks prior to my booking I increased the number of people to 4 and was able to change easily on the app. There was a doorman who opened the door after confirming we had the reservation otherwise it will have been a heavy door but after inside we were shown to our table which already had a chair removed so I could wheel straight in. Even though the restaurant was busy, the waitress took our drinks order which arrived promptly and then after placing our food order we enjoyed the ambience of a full and busy Christmas vibe. The food arrived quickly and can only be described as amazing, you certainly get what you pay for and there was four clean plates and some very full customers. We did not have dessert as the main course was satisfying enough.

Disabled parking in Queen Street is reasonably nearby. From there it is a level access to Marischal Square. I was able to get right into the restaurant with my mobility scooter. The staff were very helpful (as were the other customers). We were seated where we had a clear view of the magnificent granite frontage of Marischal College… a great place to enjoy the usual excellent Maggie’s soul food.
