Morridge View

Morridge View is a luxury Peak District barn conversion that sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with en-suite wet room. Morridge View is one of two self-catering holiday cottages at Lane Head Barns - the other property (Mixon View) sleeps 2 so in total we sleep 12 across the two properties. The cottages are both very well appointed with Morridge View having 4 bath / shower rooms, plenty of comfy seating, a large oak dining table, well equipped kitchen and a log-burner. There are two EV chargers on site - one for each property. Lane Head Barns has been assessed by Visit England with Morridge View achieving 4 Star Gold, and Mixon View 5 Star. We are within the south west area of the Peak District National Park which is a quieter part of the Peak District so it is easy to explore the area without experiencing crowds. We can advise on places to visit that are suitable for wheelchair users - examples being the Manifold Valley, Peak Wildlife Park, and Tittesworth Water which are all just a short drive away. The location of Lane Head Barns is rural and very peaceful with extensive views across farmland so ideal for groups who appreciate relaxing in a peaceful environment. Since we opened in 2018 we have had many wheelchair users visit and all have provided excellent feedback.
