A great idea until it's past 10pm and you can't use the lift to get to your car!

I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.

Advertised as "accessible 24 hours a day". That isn't true when they close the lifts at 10pm and you're left with 3 options; Leave the car until the next morning when the lift is open, struggle to get yourself and your wheelchair up 2 flights of stairs or find some way of wheeling up a steep ramp which is actually the entrance to the carpark itself and hope that you don't get run over in the dark!

Whilst there are lifts, they are only accessible part time, not 24hrs as advertised on the NCP website. The lifts are of a fair size and hold a wheelchair and standing passenger. The disabled spaces are on the first level and are in short supply, so parking in a disabled bay can be difficult.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
It is a multi-storey carpark that is pretty central to Swansea City Centre and has plenty of parking available. There are 2 lifts inside the building, however these are closed after 10pm and your options are either don't park here or struggle to get back to your car if you have mobility issues if you do want to park there past 10pm.

There aren't any public toilets available at this NCP carpark.
Staff
I did not encounter any staff at this carpark, if I had, I would have queried why the lifts are not in use after 10pm.
